Tory politicians know that they have to lie about how much they love and respect the NHS because the overwhelming majority of British people like the NHS and don’t want to see it ruined.
The truth is that the Tories hate the NHS with a burning ideological passion because the concept of prioritising health provision by need instead of ability to pay is a socialist principle.
The Tory objective is to run the NHS into the ground in order to then claim that ‘universal health provision is no longer affordable’ and they’re well on their way to achieving it.
