Could have lost something great by then! Its a gamble that “one” must decide on. Trust is hard to come by especially in Turkish culture 🙁

Distrust is certainly more prevalent in “arranged marriage” cultures (coming from someone who’s spent equal amounts of time in his adult life in both cultures)
Its not seen as a pre-requisite for marriage or even a relationship is most Muslim countries, IMHO, it has no value as it does in “the West”
It brings asylum kind of marriages (?)
